Outside Today was created in a high school business class in 2024. With young children in mind, we saw the effect technology was having on our siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and children in general. It seemed that kids didn't find spending time outside valuable anymore, and would rather turn to a tablet with videos and games. While assessing this issue, the idea of Outside Today came up. We thought of meshing the two ideas together; a way technology can still be used while getting kids to step outside. It was important for us to give the new generation what we had as kids; running and playing outside, scraping our knees, playing tag, riding bikes, and spending time with our playgroups outside. Outside Today was created to make playing outside appealing to kids again!
